Yard Armour is an amazing service. I am completely satisfied with Lawn Doctor‘s treatment. I live on a property with many trees and bushes. For years I could not go outside without getting bitten unless I sprayed myself with bug spray. I had the treatment done over the weekend, and I’ve been outside everyday since, and I haven’t been bitten once. I was on my porch last night and I watched my lit lamppost for a few minutes, and didn’t see one bug. Normally there would have been a hundred bugs flying around. I would recommend this fantastic service to everyone! 10 out of 10!! Update: After 3 years of having the Yard Armour service, it is still outstanding. In addition to virtually no mosquitoes, it has eliminated the strider crickets in my basement. Amazing. ~ Rob M

This summer marked my first year using Lawn Doctor, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Ted is a friend and a loyal customer of my own business, so I always make it a point to support my own—and I'm so glad I did. I can't say enough good things about the crew. They were consistently timely and professional, and I never once had to follow up or wonder if they'd show up. Their service was seamless: I'd get a notification on my Ring camera as they arrived, a polite letter in my mailbox, and clear signs posted right on the lawn. The Armor Shield product is truly awesome—especially for someone like me who lives right on the water. I have a very large yard so yard maintenance is always on my mind. I went through three companies before I found Lawn Doctor. I spoke with Cody about my needs. He listened to what I had to say and made a plan just right for me. He even calls a few times a year, not just during the season, to make sure everything went well and I am satisfied. The techs that come are professional and always take the time to explain what is being applied and why. My yard never looked greener and weed free. I also have them for Mosquito control. I couldn't imagine having an acre of property and not getting bit. Well with Lawn Doctor thats what happened. Not one bite all summer long. I can't say enough about this company. So far so good! I’ve only had one treatment so far so it’s too soon to tell how my lawn will look, or how my overall satisfaction will be. But for what I’ve seen so far, I’ve been impressed by everything from the easy no-charge estimate as well as the professionalism and punctuality of my first treatment. The cost is fairly equivalent to fertilizing and treating my own lawn, especially since I seem to have to buy a new spreader every summer because they break so easily for some reason. So far, based on first impressions, I’ve already recommended to my brother-in-law who already had his first treatment the other day, and will continue to recommend to anyone who’s interested. I’ll give an update after the summer for my overall review. ~ Steve R

Hello, my name is Cindy Meyer. I have been using lawn Doctor for my mosquito and insect spraying. I never normally take the time to leave reviews because I am always running around during this and that but I really needed to take time today to leave a review I think the company that I am dealing with is a very professional reasonable company, They are very helpful. I have been with them like I said for quite a few years just recently I had an issue. I was not able to find my debit card and had to wait on my payment and they were very patient and understanding with me I am always able to get in touch with them and I’m always happy with their service. I had just bought a new home and had some issues with my lawn, brown spots, no grass growing, weeds etc. I reached out to Ted at Lawn Doctor, and I can tell you with out any doubt, he is a stand up man and company. I had services performed and I am so happy with the results. About two weeks ago, I had their power seeding applied to my lawn and I am having a beautiful green grass that was never there. It is bright and colorful and no weeds. I was unsure of what to expect and not too sure if this would work. I can tell you after speaking with Ted and seeing the results of his recommendations, I am extremely happy and will be a customer for a long time. I’ve been using Lawn Doctor for years now and have had a really great experience. Ted Kramer is just a great guy to work with, always professional, reliable, and easy to talk to. He really cares about doing a good job, and it shows. My lawn honestly looks better than it ever has. Everything has been consistently good, the service, the products, and the pricing. Ted always takes the time if I have a question and makes sure things are done right. I also use their Yard Armor treatment and haven’t had any issues with insects, which has made a big difference when we’re out in the yard. I’ve been using lawn doctor for a few years, both at my previous property and now this much larger (2.25 acres) one to manage bugs and mosquitos. Watching my neighbors use organic services, although commendable, means that no one visits their yards in the summer as we get eaten alive and even the neighbors that use other services don’t seem to have the same amazing results that we’ve received from Lawn Doctor. It’s honestly the easiest service that I renew every yeaqr as I know that it will mean that I will be able toq use my yard all summerr long without any having to spray down and smeel like deep woods. ~ Olivier A

It was time to sell my folk's house. My Dad had passed away, my Mom was in her 90's and their large backyard had been neglected for many years. It had become overgrown with brush and resultant debris, and had become a haven for mosquitoes. One could not walk back there for more than 30 seconds without suffering a multitude of bites. Something had to be done before we could ever let a potential buyer back there. The answer was Lawn Doctor's Yard Armor. After just one treatment the mosquitoes were gone. The remaining treatments kept it that way, and that yard actually became enjoyable to be in. Indeed, we sold that house within a day on the market, and that huge, mosquito-free backyard was a major selling point. We just moved into our home and the lawn was horrible with weeds and bare spots. Luis was amazing at communicating what was wrong and the right Course of action to take to better our lawn, he even came to visit the Property in person to make sure we were taking the right course of action. Even after the first seeding I had a few concerns and without Hesitation he set up a lawn tech to come and check out the areas and they fix them right away. We just purchased our home in May and began service immediately with Long Doctor! We are so pleased with the results of the service and the professionalism in everyone who has come to our home! The pest control is top notch!! We can go in our yard without any concern of bugs! Also I have a dog and without fail every service the technicians ring my doorbell to ensure my dog is inside and pick up all her toys before performing any service so the chemicals do not go on them! For years I have used lawn services that I was never fully happy with. The companies didn't return my calls, didn't improve my lawn, charged me for chemicals I highly doubt they actually put down or my lawn wouldn't have looked as bad as it did, and basically had me wondering why I was using them. Then I hired Lawn Doctor. They are a very professional company and always call back promptly answering any questions I may have. Everyone passing by the house says we have the best lawn in the neighborhood!!! Always so professional both on the phone and here. My Lawn has never looked so great. I had been using organic fertilizer from local nurseries and applying it myself religiously. I saw a major improvement during the 1st season we used Lawn Doctor. Going into this winter lawn looked spectacular can't wait to see this year. We have used 2 other companies for mosquito control, Lawn Dr's Yard Armour is by far the best. I have been using Lawn Doctor for years now for Yard Armor to keep bugs out of my backyard. During that time, we have been able to enjoy our backyard, free of pests. Ted Kramer is very responsive and is on top of things, even when we've needed resprays. My daughter is scared of bees and gets bad reactions when stung, so it is imperative to keep bees out of the backyard and in my opinion, Lawn Doctor is the best in the business. I cannot say enough about Ted Kramer and everyone at Lawn Doctor of Long Island. Yard Armor does not just spray but actually treats to get rid of the problem. We have been mosquito free for years. Not to mention bug free in general. Much better to entertain outside without having to use Citronella Candles. Ted and his team also make sure that my lawn is as green and weed free as it can be. I just wanted to say how impressed I am with the services provided by Lawn Doctor. After having problems with my landscaper, I decided to use Lawn Doctor. My lawn was a wreck. A few weeks after Lawn Doctor started servicing it, the turnaround was amazing. By the end of the summer my lawn looked great. So spoke with Ted today about the issues with my front lawn. The back was perfect this year , but had some issues in the front. Ted sent someone out right away to help me & we have come up with a plan for the front. He worked with me on the price and was extremely kind. I’m not a customer. Just checking out reviews for future consideration. I have to say the responses on negative reviews are refreshing. It’s about time an honest response is replied rather than kissing up to customers. Kudos to you! Yes there are three sides to every story, but I find it hard to believe a company would reply as such without a good reason. As a customer for the past few years, I have had a very positive experience. I utilize their Yard Armour service to get rid of the bugs and make our backyard much more usable and enjoyable. They treat our yard a few times each “insect season” with non-toxic spray and it keeps the bugs away! The Lawn Doctor franchise that covers my account is terrific. I switched from another service ten years ago, and have always been satisfied. The key is their customer service. Ted Kramer is a hands-on owner /mgr. who knows his accounts and is always personally responsive. If I call with an issue, he calls back, not an assistant. Very impressed with Lawn Doctor's communication and execution. Receive an email the day before the appointments. They always show up as scheduled. I am a bit of a fanatic when it comes to my lawn and I have to say that Lawn Doctor of Long island has never let me down. I call the minute I see any problems with my grass and Ted always gets a technician over in a day or two. they explain what caused the problem. then they fix it. if you want a GREAT lawn get sprinklers and call Lawn Doctor!! its that simple ~ Paul G
